After 4 years as a member of the Board of Trustees, Diana Hutchinson is stepping down.
Diana and her husband Brian were married at First Lutheran in September 2001 — a year when there were so many weddings that they had to get married on a Sunday because all the Saturdays they wanted were already reserved. She remembers picking up the key to the church from Mae Hartwig and warning her guests that there were no bathroom facilities! Since then, the church has had a special place in her heart.
Diana joined the Board of Trustees in April 2013. Her contributions to the board include creating the website, Facebook page, email newsletter, hosting open houses, networking with local photographers, serving as our representative to the Middleton Chamber of Commerce, and fundraising.
Diana said “I am proud of the work we have accomplished together for the sake of the community — for those who will come after us, and for the sake of the people who founded and sustained the church for the past 150+ years.”
